DreadBall Season 2 Winner

February 8, 2015 (Dreadball Coverage)

DreadBall season 2 has come to a close! The playoffs were fiercely fought but our season 1 champion, Duncan Carr, was able to come through and take the championship once again. His name will be immortalized on our custom Players Wanted DreadBall Championship Trophy!

Looking ahead to season 3, we’ll be starting shortly after Terminal City Tabletop (March 15th) where we’ll be looking to get even more people interested as we’ll be demoing the game there.

We’ll be working on making our league more enjoyable than ever before during this downtime and we hope you’ll use your downtime wisely as well, whether it be refining your strategies, changing your style of play, or coaching a different team entirely!

DreadBall Season 2 Playoffs on Feb 8th

January 30, 2015 (Dreadball Coverage)

Our 2nd season of DreadBall will be coming to a close with the playoffs happening on Sunday, February 8th. All teams will have a shot at the playoffs, but you’ll still have a week to make a push to get seeded! Remember what your team is playing for: glory, achievements in our loyalty program, and your name on our custom Players Wanted trophy! For more details, check out our event calendar post!

Soon after we’ll be announcing the details of our 3rd season. We noticed that it was harder to find people to play games by not having a specific day for DreadBall league play. The ranking system we’ve been using also hasn’t worked as well as we’ve liked. We’re hoping to rework the league rules a bit to make season 3 our most enjoyable and exciting season so stay tuned!

September 12, 2014 (Dreadball Coverage)

It has been a wonderful first season. There have been some magnificent plays and some terrific matchups. I’d like to thank the officials for their hard work in helping us all learn not just the rules but sportsmanship and etiquette as well.

At the end of the season, 8 teams have emerged as solid contenders for the Season 1 Championship.

Here are your brackets!

Dreadball League Playoff Bracket

Now, for those who haven’t made the playoffs, you will all get a chance to still participate!

Once we have determined our Top 4 teams, we will be giving a chance to every non-playoff coach to predict who they think the champion will be. Correct predictors will be entered into a draw to win a prize!

All playoff games must be scheduled with an official as they require an official to be spectating the game! Teams will be playing Best of 3’s. Coaches are unable to hire new players, however free agents and MVP’s are still available. Games may be scheduled starting Monday, September 15th.
